Fabric Bowls

I have always wanted to make a fabric bowl, but did not want to sew the rows by hand. That's why I was so happy when I saw Linda Permann's instructions (www.craftsylish.com/item/33825/how-to-sew-a-fabric-bowl ) on how to sew a fabric bowl using a sewing machine. The first bowl I made turned into a basket. It was 12 inches wide and about 14 inches tall. I thought I would put all my unfinished projects in it. Since I still had some leftover fabric, I decided to make a slightly smaller bowl that would hold all my left over scraps of fabric from projects. I usually throw all my scraps in a pile so that I can cut them up later. I usually cut them into strips, squares, and triangles and then throw over whatever is left. After I made this bowl, I still had some fabric left over. So, ofcourse, I made another bowl, a lot smaller, but large enough to hold some spools of thread, ribbon, and bias tape. I am using and love them all.
